God news for both of the twin boroughs downtown's - The East Stroudsburg and Stroudsburg post offices will remain open.  Originally, the post office had proposed consolidating the two offices in a newer, larger facility, likely outside of downtown (because they wanted a 4 acre lot).

With the recent accident on Washington Street, pedestrian safety is on everyone's mind.  The Borough of East Stroudsburg and the ECA are working together to make downtown safer and more friendly to pedestrians, keep your eyes peeled for public hearings relating to setting a speed limit for Crystal St..  I'm thinking 10 mph.
